The Polar Express At The Newbern Depot Museum

The Newbern Depot Museum hosted a book reading of “The Polar Express.”

The venue was decorated for Christmas and created the perfect setting for storytime. The Conductor read this classic to the children in attendance, and then Santa stopped in for a special visit. With him, he carried special gifts that were then distributed to each person.

Hot chocolate and cookies were served, but the most special feature, perhaps, was when the museum operated its model trains.

Proceeds from the event benefitted the Newbern Depot Museum.
