The George Butler Memorial Food Pantry at the Newbern Cumberland Presbyterian Church on East Main is operated by the GFWC of TN Newbern Womans Club.
They are always needing food, money, and volunteers.
Hours are 10 am - 1 pm on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month.

The Highlands of Dyersburg is having a Womenless Beauty Revue on Sept 30 at 2:00 pm. They would also like to invite you to the Senior Citizens Bingo Party, Wed. Sept. 21st, 10 - 11:30 am, hosted by Dyersburg Mall. There will be prizes, gifts, Free coffee & Orange juice, and 20% off for Senior Citizens at The Popcorn Place.
This year on September 10th we will resume the Miss Depot Days Pageant for ages Walking-12th Grade.
Newbern Depot Days started in 1992 as a fund raiser to renovate an old Illinois Central Depot located in downtown Newbern.
The Structure was very unsightly and lay in the heart of the downtown business district directly across the street from the former police and fire departments.
